Hermann Naumann (born 1930), sculptor, graphic artist, painter, was already active in Yiddish culture and poetry in the fifties already. This has remained an essential part of his later creative work.
"His art is a permanent conflict between hard borderlines and soft border crossing. His play with possibilities seems boundless, and the conflict becomes a relief even if we have to be prepared for abrupt turns." (Kristina Bauer-Volke)
