Address Unknown - penfriends in the Third Reich
Frank Kanera, Michael Rockstroh, Peter Koch (Cello)
It is late in 1932 when Martin returns to Germany after many years abroad. He is alarmed
by the need and poverty of the inhabitants, and begins to commit himself to helping them.
Only a few months later he writes to his Jewish fried Max: „I belong to this movement.
The Jewish problem is only a trivial matter.
Something much greater is going on.“ This greater thing is a threat, not only to these men's friendship. One becomes the other's victim. But then... „This story is masterly, superbly structured, of
annoying
brevity, not one word too much, not a word missing.“(Elke Heidenreich in her preface) (Elke Heidenreich in her preface)
